About:
This is a student project, intended to design a course scheduler mobile app for Chapman University. The current MyChapman interface is hard to navigate, not true to the University’s branding, ineffective on a mobile device, and outdated. The challenge of creating this app is to ensure that it is a step above the current MyChapman interface and that it does not trap users in the way that the current website does. The MyChapman website does not successfully utilize the back button, making it difficult for students who want to conduct another class search or simply check their schedule.

The solution to the issues presented by the current MyChapman interface is an app that is modern, easy-to-use, and provides a good user experience. The MyChapman app does this by providing accessible navigation, interactive elements, and clear, on-brand features. The app is designed to help take off some of the pressure and stress that comes with monitoring a schedule, keeping track of assignments, and registering for classes. The MyChapman app is the solution to a better experience: both as an interface user and a student.
